This is one of those items that I found was excellent in every way. The case is a perfect fit for the Western Digital Passport drives which slide into a pocket on one side of the case. The other side of the case holds the USB connecting wire. The case is light in weight but strong enough to provide protection in most situations. Its not truly hard as if it were made of metal and a more a more apt description would be very stiff, but to me this could be a good thing because it would provide a small bit of cushion in the event that you were to drop the case on to a hard surface. I plan on getting several more to hold all four of my Passport drives. Oh yes, one other positive is that I think the price is very low for something of this quality - especially if youre a Prime member and get the free shipping.

My 500gb WD fits snuggly in this case.

Basic design simple but very practical and light

It would be better if it had padding to protect the hard drive, but its still a good case and it protects the hard drive.
