Im cheap and needed a protective case for an external hard drive. Amazons website recommended this case, so I bought it. This case and rthe hard drive have been knocked about on a daily basis. As the ads used to say, it [the harddrive] takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Excellent product!

I bought this to protect the MyPassport drive. This securely protects my drive and cable. I debated whether or not to even buy a case, but for this low price and perfect fit, it is a no brainer and Im happy Amazon makes it. The frustration-free packaging is nice...
