The auto lock is the only locking mechanism - one tape works, other tape arrived with auto-lock broken. Bought as a Christmas gift, didnt learn one was broken until after return window. Amazon is not responding to warranty inquiries after several emails. Dont buy.

Great tape measure, good length for price and works like a charm.

This is a 33 foot/ 10 m tape measure. It is self-locking and has both a thumb button and another button underneath for your finger to release it- either button works making it very convenient to adjust the tape or retract it no matter how you are holding it. The case has a metal belt clip on it and seems to be made of a sturdy plastic. Easy to read tape in inches and cm with stud marks are present at 16 intervals. The tape has about 8 of standout before it bends or bows to the side. The only cons I can see are: There is no roman numeral marking on the blade to denote accuracy and while the description states MID accuracy- there is no CE mark on the blade indicating confirmation to MID. This is probably not a big deal to the average user, but for a contractor or professional, it could be an issue. Overall, it is a nice product that seems comparable to more well known name brands for basic use in the home or DIY project.

Unfortunately I only got to use this for a few days before it got stolen (this tape was replacing my previous one that got stolen, and the one before that...). However the little time I got to use it I was very pleased. The tape auto-locked itself which was a great feature to have in my line of work where Im usually one-handing it. Ill probably end up buying this again if it doesnt get returned within the week.

Very durable and a little heavy

I purchased in 1/21. I am very adept at using a tape measure and every time I use this one I HATE it. The tape blade is so flimsy that I have to take 2 or more measurements when I put it on the ground to measure, and forget about measuring up a wall. I find this tool as almost useless. I only use it when I cant find my REAL Stanley.

Good tape measure overall but most of my work I depend on floating the metal tape out horizontally 6 or more which this product will not do. Im used to the Fat Max tape which has thicker metal to do the job.

Sturdy and well built. The three pack means that you can find one when you need it.
