The centimeter readings are as clear to read as inches! The self-lock and release work perfectly, and it weighs in at half the weight of my 24 tape measure. This feels great in my hand and 16 is perfect for almost every measuring job I have. Great product that I recommend. I have ordered 2 more of these to keep handy.

It does a good job measuring stuff.

Getting this thing to retract takes an act of congress. Returned it the same day it arrived.

It required lubrication to function properly.

Its no FatMax but its close, works great. It will extend to about 7 feet before the tape bends and it drops but for the price its definitely worth it!

We got these tape measures which are perfect for most home owners. They would make great gifts for young people just starting out or for a spare to keep on in garage and one in the house.

Love the lock On this tape measure. It stays where you pull it out to and only retracts when you press the release. All tape measures should have this feature

The auto lock is the only locking mechanism - one tape works, other tape arrived with auto-lock broken. Bought as a Christmas gift, didnt learn one was broken until after return window. Amazon is not responding to warranty inquiries after several emails. Dont buy.
