Good grief! Description states that the blade width is 1-1/4 inches. NO. Its only ~5/8 inch. Its off by 50%! Ironic for a tape measure, no? Blade is thin. Retraction mechanism is...iffy. I suppose its worth about what Amazon is charging. Just dont expect a decent tape measure.

I keep this in the kitchen to get to easily and it works great.

For its price and what we needed it was perfect. My only complaint is the locking feature is weak and it is very easy to accidentally have it come back and get your fingers. Careful of the danger noodle.

I got tired of asking my husband for his so I got this for ME. No complaints!

We ordered two, a pink one for our granddaughter and a blue one for our grandson. They are twins. The tip on the blue one broke off 10 minutes after giving them to the tape measures. He was so sad. We were so frustrated.

This tape measure was the best one I’ve ever user until I broke just a couple week after use. I love how it automatically stays open and doesn’t snap back. It’s lightweight, but sturdy. The only trouble I had was one day I was measuring something large and it never retraced back into itself so the tape is forever out. I wish this hadn’t happened - I loved it!

This was the only one I could find on amazon that is metric and imperial. Its a bit pricey but its solid. Good solid lock, release and spring. Does just what I need and I dont have to multiply by 25.4 all the time, anymore.
