AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Really good cpu. No issues installing. Comes with non rgb AMD stock cooler which is a bit bland. Swapped for wraith rgb cooler with no problem. Performance wise, it has been perfect

My only complaint has nothing to do with this item. The CPU was perfectly functional on arrival, and is still working well today. My issue is with myself, in not having enough money to get the more powerful 5800 or 5950 Ryzen processors. Even so, the 5600X is an excellent budget choice that will function well on any AM4+ socket MoBo. I have been very satisfied with this purchase.

Network interface stopped working after 9 months

I upgraded from an i5 4690k after doing a lot of research between Intel & AMD. While AMD has traditionally been fine for computers for my kids, I always preferred an Intel (minus a AMD 965 build I did years ago). Bottom line, Intels just gamed and aged better... then came Zen 3.

The CPU supports over clocking with a compatible motherboard. It is powerful for a mid ranged CPU. Windows 10 installed in just a few minutes. Price was good as it does come with a cooler,however if you are going to overclock you will need a better fan/cooler. Generally AMD are hot running CPUs although I did not try the wraith cooler it seemed alittle small for me and I did doubt its performance. My build was a gaming and graphics pc so I needed the extra cooling if you are going to run a general all round pc and will not be running intensive programs the wraith cooler that it comes with will be fine.

Got it running at 4.8 ghz at 1.2 volts easily. Maxes out at 80c with the stock cooler, but never breaks 65 with a 212 evo.

Works great can play games and also emulate some games very easy

I upgraded to a 5600x from an entry level 5 1600. Wow am I impressed. Smoothed out all my games. Getting 20+fast on most games . Great example would be ac:odyssey , I now get avg80 fps on high settings compared to before where I was averaging 40-50 fps on medium settings. All in all a GREAT upgrade!!
