AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

I got the 5600x because of the hype mostly. Looking back , I probably would have gone with a 10600k for under $200 or something , if you want a better value. Just my opinion though

I was using a Ryzen 1700 and needed an upgrade. I cant believe how fast this is compared to that 1700! Its probably double the speed using less cores. I have seen a huge FPS increase across all games, and my system is so much snappier now. Load times are also faster, even using m.2. Installation was easy and it posted first try. If you need an upgrade, Ryzen will give you massive bang for you buck!! 10/10 excellent silicon!

When the Zen 3 CPUs first came out, I gawked at how the entry level CPU could be $100 over its Zen 2 equivalent (3600). But reviews quickly confirmed that the 5600X commanded this higher price tag, and so this is the route I went. I was fortunate enough to snag one on Amazon after weeks of combating the bots and scalpers. It booted up without issue, is operating within the expected range, and not much seems to slow it down.

Acabo de hacer upgrade de un 2700X en una motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming con el nuevo BIOS que actualiza AGESA para soportar los procesadores AM4 AMD Series 5000 y realmente puedo ver la diferencia en rendimiento de videojuegos, en las pruebas sintéticas sale muy por arriba y casi a la par de un 5800X o 5900X en single core performance (Cinebench R20: arriba de 600 puntos). Ahora con este BIOS 5809 puedes activar 4G Decoding y Resizable BAR para mejorar el rendimiento de la GPU, es increíble y lo mejor es que no tuve que cambie de motherboard, gracias AMD/ASUS.

Lo único malo es el disipador de stock. Trate de usar el CTR pero truena por que llega al límite de temperatura. De ahí se soluciona comprando un buen disipador. Para juegos es excelente. Tengo el mismo rendimiento que un ryzen 7 3700x de mi hermano
