AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Nothing against the cpu itself but BE CAREFUL ON WHAT CPU YOU GET I ordered a 3800x and it came in a box for the 3800x but the processor was a 1700x. I would try a different seller just in case since this one seems to have the tendency of bait n switching. Oh and I didnt get the codes for the free games either.

Processor has been great holding a 4.3 overclock on all cores extremely stable. Buy from Newegg though I got screwed out of the two free games (borderlands 3 and the outer worlds) by Amazon. Customer service was zero help.

If you looking to build a pc it better be with amd the technology is by far Serperior easy to install if you know what your doing, but upgrading my pc to the 7 3800 made my pc fly easy to over clock and the stability of phenomenal amd all the way... you guys have killed the competition specially with the new threadripper

Upgraded from Ryzen 1700. While a a great deal more powerful than the old oone the reason why I got 3800x instead 3700x was simply because I wanted a cpu with good silicon. I had issue with the old setup that was related to the DDR4 ram, but the CPU was an issue as well. With this and removal of a bad pair of RAM sticks I can finally have the DDR4 at XMP speed instead of 2133 MHz and the whole computer is solide with no crashes.

It had some shipping problems but they helped me out and arrived when I needed it to, works perfectly fine 10/10 recommend

This cpu is incredible. I was able to get it on sale for around $350, otherwise I would have gone with the r7 3700x, as the bump up to the 3800x is minute. Going to windows 10 from 7, getting this killer cpu, and doubling my 5 year old ram to 3200 mhz, Ive noticed a HUGE difference in overall performance.
