Its a great CPU, very fast and very nice except for one annoying thing. It seems by my research that the 5800x and the 5900x series seem to have some kind of compatibility or conflict with certain bios settings. If you find yourself in this unfortunate situation where the computer crashes or freezes, then you will have to do some bios settings tinkering to try to remedy the CPU issue. I have been trying to playa round with different things to help solve the issue and so far (knock on wood) I think I found something that works because I have seemed to be stable now the last few days. Under bios, disable Core Performance Boost or Precision Boost Overdrive. If you dont want to remove those then you may have to play around with CPU voltages, so be careful and know what youre doing.

Had no trouble building a high end gaming rig with this CPU which has been optimized for that purpose. Add great performance and good pricing and you have a winner.

Comprato per aggiornare una configurazione con rayzen 1700. Grazie alla politica di tenere i socket uguali per più generazioni ho dato un bel po di verve al sistema.

Ryzen 5000 series R7 is a little beast of a CPU. Do yourself a favor and get one you won’t be disappointed.

Overall just an excellent product. The multi-tasking and gaming performance is top notch. I upgraded from a 1700X on a B450 motherboard. Was just a drop in replacement after updating the motherboard BIOS. Very noticeable performance gains in most Triple A titles.

Totally worth it, basically has turned my machine into a gaming monster. I paired this guy with a 3070 ti and the temps dont go above 70°C (not like the common reviews you usually see online). My cooler its pretty standard (Hyper 212 RGB black edition with pull/push configuration) and it doesnt have any problems cooling the beast. You might wanna check some videos about temps before purchasing, but trust me that wont be a problem specially if you have a high end cooler.
