AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Great CPU, upgraded from ryzen 2600x. Difference is really noticiable. No more FPS Drops, No more 1% Low’s. If youre on AM4 MB, you dont need anything else. 10/10

So I pulled the trigger when landing a new remote WFH job with a good pay increase and quarterly bonuses. I got this for 274.99 plus tax, two weeks or so to ship. Only reason why I returned this product was the 5700X will get about the same performance with 40% less power draw and that chip went on sale last week for 245.99$. So sadly I returned this just due to price, efficiency, and temps, the 5700X does it all the same with less power and heat, which I monitor living in FL. Still full return after two weeks, solid service, and sales. If you live in the cold and this is on sale under 299$, just get it. Thank you AMD for making wonderful products.

Most pins were bent and there was a pin that was completely missing. Totally unusable. If the return isn’t accepted I will have wasted over $400 for nothing. It’d be more satisfying to just flush $400 down the toilet.

Arrived damaged (in a damaged box) and when I returned it the next day, the price had risen £10.00 or so and therefore I had to pay for it again while I waited for my refund instead of being offered a replacement. Very very very frustrating.

Picked this up at the $400 sale price point, and Ive had one of these CPUs before, so I knew what to expect. This processor will get hot at stock, but, with a bit of tinkering, its fantastic. Mounted with a great cooler, and with a bit of tinkering in a PBO 2.0 curve undervolt, these processors can hit over 5ghz on boost, and stay even cooler than stock. At the lower price point, the price per performance makes a lot more sense. The 8 core 16 thread set up, with top tier single core performance offers a great middle ground for plenty of gaming performance, with room to stream or do some workloads on the side. Overall, likely the best overall CPU (actually available) right now. Would highly recommend for those with some OC/ undervolt savvy, and a penchant for great cooling solutions.

Buen procesador, saca muy buen rendimiento pero es necesario tener una buena refrigeración ya que al 100% de carga se puede calentar a las 90 grados perfectamente.
