AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Strong CPU. Stable, straightforward operation. Mine boosts to 4.85Ghz while running at stock settings. I think its a bit over-priced at full retail, but value is starting to improve as its showing up with decent discounts now and then.

Best series of gaming / workstation CPUs by a long mile. Ryzen 5000 series has legit put intel to shame here. Delivery was on time, and absolutely thrilled to get one through Amazon amidst this shortage season.

Awesome CPU, fast but HOT. It have tried many different things to get this CPU to run good Temps, idle on 50 to 45 and 83 to 70 gaming, light usage like 63. I have corsair AIO 280mm cooler , tried new thermal paste, etc .

Awesome processor, really fast and efficient. A bit too hot but its normal for this kind of processor, I live in a really hot place 32°(Feels like 40-41° Celcius) and with a Artic Freezer 34 eSports DUO, hits at full load 85-86°and IDLE 56-57° Celcius, I have 4 fans in the case, 2 instake and 3 exhaust.

Die erste CPU hat mir einige Kopfschmerzen bereitet. Trotz 360 AIO hatte ich im Cinebench R23 nach ca. 20 Sekunden 90° Die Temperatur. Der Kühler saß perfekt und die WLP war hauchdünn und komplett aufgetragen (MX4). Die CPU ging hierbei nicht ins Throttling, der Boost wird aber deutlich reduziert. Nach Recherche im Internet stieß ich auf ähnliche Bericht, mit dem Ergebnis, dass es sich hier wohl nicht um einen Defekt handelt, es aber eine große Serienstreuung gibt. Habe die CPU dann ausgetauscht. Die neue CPU ist mit selbem Kühler und gleicher WLP ca. 8-9° unter Volllast kühler. Im Idle sogar ca. 12°.

Has been very good performance and reliable for the time ive had it, the memory channels are holding up much better than on my old 3600x where after some time I couldnt use the XMP profile on 3600mhz C14 ram without it crashing. Its a bit difficult to set a fan curve as with the small process, it heats up very quickly towards 80 degrees and comes back down just as quickly when not under load so fan speed can be a bit temperamental. this is a minor thing, during gaming it never spikes very high.
