Amazing performance

Impossible de démarrer le nouveau PC avec ce Ryzen 5900X. Jai aussi essayé avec un Ryzen 5800X, même chose : pas daffichage, pas de démarrage. La LED CPU sallume en rouge (voir photo). Essayé avec 3 cartes mères dont 2 identiques, 2 cartes graphiques différentes, 2 alimentations différentes, 2 jeux de RAM différents. Pas daffichage.

This IS a beast. Runs everything at 10+ speed and stays cool!!!! Im really happy with this, even though it was not cheap.... I did get what I wanted...SPEED.

Did not work after checking/confirming computability with new and old parts. Went to reorder to confirm that the new part would work but the price is not $50 more..

By far this is the best CPU Ive had in recent memory, switched from a FX-8320 and trust me, its night and day difference, satisfied with my purchase.

Very happy with the purchase as I was eyeing to upgrade my 5 year old system and was on the hunt for some parts. I may call it lucky when my motherboard manufacturer decided to add a BIOS on my old mobo (X370) that will support the new Ryzen 9 CPU 5000 series. I was planning to get the 3900X as that was previously the max CPU my old mobo support. After I heard the news of the BIOS update I immediately update mine and viola the CPU wrked. It also helped that the 5900X was on an offer price when I bought it, cheaper than the 3900X. The CPU really performed better than I expected (my old CPU was 1800X). CPU computing was tripled, 3D rendering was a breeze, software multitasking is insane, and gaming was phenomenal. Best purchase I did in a year, now time to upgrade my RAM and will be hunting for it :)

The Ryzen 9 5900X is a great CPU for gaming. It is cheaper than its Intel counterpart and is unlocked and ready to be overclocked. Really really easy to install straight out of the box given that you have an AMD compatible Motherboard (I recommend ASUS Crossfire Viii)

Its an excellent CPU performance wise, however if gaming is the goal its almost overkill. The price is $100 lower than original msrp which makes it alot more attractive. If youre doing work thats cpu intensive it certainly is a great option, better value than the 5950x for the amount of performance to price that you get. However this is the last of the AM3 socket so maybe consider waiting for the next generation of AMD cpus if youre looking to build a 5 year+ computer.
