THis food color really makes what ever you need to brown, very brown. It works great, has zero flavor

Once I puncture the seal I have no way of ever closing this up or safely storing it with no cap. That is how the product arrived, no cap. Frustrating.

I bought the brown dye to mix with the candles I make from home. Unfortunately, this soft gel dye does not mix well with wax and instead, sank to the bottom of the hot wax mixture and sat there like a turd. Didnt mix at all. I had to throw in my older liquid dyes to cover any brown flakes. So because of this brown dye not doing its job properly, I have wasted a bunch of materials setting up that batch of candles. Buying this product made me lose even more money out of pocket.

I had to use a LOT of this to make a dark brown. Thus the icing was bitter.

This is a true brown and you can use a little for a light chocolate color or more for dark brown without it watering down your icing. I used this for royal icing (flooding) on cookies.
