> 3 dayThe old wheels consistently kept getting stuck and would cause the screen door to pop out of the frame. After repeatedly trying to lube the door to fix it, I finally settled on buying new rollers. Easy to install, work great, and the door slides like a champ.

Greater than one weekCheaper than going through the brick and motor stores. Super easy to install. My only concern is the plastic construction. Only time will tell.

> 3 dayIve seen some other people note this before purchasing, but while these ended up being the correct part for my old screen door, they were a PAIN to install. The old parts do not want to leave their home. I ended up using needle nose pliers and broke the old wheels into chunks to shake out of the door. These went in fine once you figured out to line the adjustment screw with the hole in the door.

01-04-2025It is made of plastic that wears in about 2 years. I can’t see why they are not making it all metal, but I suppose this is the way they have decided to make money.

Greater than one weekThis goes in the category of why didnt I do this before. Ive put up with the original rollers for a long time, I dont remember how long exactly. Maybe they rolled as nicely as these do but of they did I dont remember it. Even without instructions changing these out was less than a 5 minute job including taking the door off and putting it back on again and with a very slight adjustment they roll beautifully again. Hint for people who have trouble getting the old ones out, there is a hole at each end of the screen door, stick something long and thin in it and pry TOWARD the roller. They will pop right out. My wife complained that they are plastic, but I assume that is so they wont rust. At $15/pair just change them out every 10 years or sooner and have a great rolling door.
