Andersen Lower Screen Roller Assembly (1991 to Present) 1 Pair - 1997310 by Andersen Windows

After watching a YouTube video, I decided to have a go at rescreening and replacing the rollers on my tattered screen door. The replacement rollers came with simple instructions and it was literally a snap! If you can read, you can do this. I expect these rollers to last another 20 years like their forerunners. I highly recommend this DIY project and these rollers.

“We’ll just get a new screen door” - is what my husband said when I showed him these after our bottom wheel broke. Well, a year later and guess what? We still didn’t have that replacement! While the cost of a generic screen door isn’t too much, trying to lug it home from the store would be a challenge. I finally just ordered this piece and fixed the old door which had been sitting by the side of the house waiting patiently to be taken to the dump. The hardest part was dislodging the old wheel, after that the new piece popped right into place! A little bit of elbow grease to clean the door & WD40 on the element exposed track and we were back in business with an actual Anderson door. Also glad we kept the old screen door out of a landfill needlessly!

Easy to pop out the old wheels and pop in the new. Now the screen rolls perfectly again.

Our patio door in the sunroom was hard to open, so we replaced the rollers. It now opens very easy.

Our old rollers got damaged and the screen door had been dragging weird since we bought our house. The rollers were lodged in and they were tough to get out. Once I got them out, the new ones very easily clicked into place and the screen glides like a dream. Sometimes it’s the small things lol. So happy with these.

Fit my Andersen screen door perfectly. It now rolls in the track as it should. Seems just as good as the original part.

Brought life back to an old door. Was harder to get the old, brittle ones out than to get the new ones in. Minor adjustment and it was good to go!

The old wheels consistently kept getting stuck and would cause the screen door to pop out of the frame. After repeatedly trying to lube the door to fix it, I finally settled on buying new rollers. Easy to install, work great, and the door slides like a champ.
