Love this game. I really like the crafting system they added! Kind of down about how fruits can not longer be displayed in a bowl, but I think being able to customize the island and set furniture outside is a pretty good trade off. I pre-ordered my copy in July and got it a couple days late, but all things considered I can understand why. Highly recommend this game for people who like to collect things, harvest and craft stuff, or if youre a long time fan

Good job Amazon and good job Nintendo! This may be the best game ever invented. I would buy this game ten times over! There is so much detail, interaction, and fun all in this one game! To be honest, I literally bought a Nintendo switch just for this game. DO NOT PASS THIS UP! This isnt a suggestion this is an order. Just kidding. But seriously, do not pass this up. All of these other reviews are saying that you cant have different islands, but how would that even work? I mean of course everyone knows... or should know that animal crossing doesnt let you have two islands. Thats just crazy. Any who I would like to recommend this. If you dont get this item, you are missing out.

This game is my Zen. I play it once a day, it’s so relaxing and it’s fun. There are little tasks you can do, you can plant trees and flowers, a lot of the items you get are interactive, but my favorite thing is jumping in the water to swim around.

A HUGE plus for giving people more to do and for continuing to support the game! The crafting system is pretty fun! It gives you reasons to explore yours and other random islands. So many custom designs! I do wish each player/character got their own list of designs. Could use improvements on buttons used to do things. Sometimes multiple functions for the same button gets in the way, like picking things up and erasing tiles, or using an item and shaking a tree. I dont play the game much, but it could use a way to transfer saves to another Switch or cloud save in case your Switch gets stolen.

There is nothing I could say about how amazing this game is that someone else hasnt already touched on. This is one of the most pleasing and rewarding casual games Ive ever played in my life. There are no demands on you as the player, just enjoy the adorable world set out in front of you. If you need a break from the stress in your life and just want to chill, get and play New Horizons, there is an easily attainable and enjoyable video game vacation in store for you. Warning, you will likely enjoy it so much that you get drawn into the world of these critters and their daily goings on. I adore my villagers and enjoy getting to greet and interact with them. With this game being real time and it being synced to the days, months, and seasons of where you live it is wonderfully immersive and the mounting rewards as time goes by only increase the fun. There is a wonderful sense of achievement in the slow steady gameplay. For sure 5 stars a 10/10 game for me and Ive enjoyed introducing it to friends and family who have also gotten copies and loved it as well!

Ive been playing every Animal Crossing since the DS version, and this game is considerably ranked above the others in terms of visuals, customization and freedom. I have about 200 hours logged in and loved every second of it. There are of course, as others have mentioned, some quality of life/tedious issues but those dont really bother me as much as the lack of store fronts does, as well as less furniture options as other games. Im hoping that later this year some more updates/dlcs will fix this. Considering the amount of time I played with this game versus its cost point, I would say its absolutely worth it! It really is a perfect game for our unique situation globally with the pandemic going on.

Nintendo does it again! As a massive fan of Animal crossing and a long time player I can say this is one of the best animal crossings in a long time. Surprisingly I see more similarities in New Horizons to the game cube version of the game, seeing similar features and special events some of which haven’t been seen since then. Unlike some people, I think this has the best multiplayer options of any animal crossing. Not only can you send letters to your friends online but you can also visit in real time with one another via the airport. And you can do that with up to SEVEN OTHER PLAYERS at the same time. You can also couch co op with family and friends as you work together to make your island beautiful together. The graphics are softer and very beautiful. There has never been so many clothing and furniture items it’s almost overwhelming but I love it. It’s clear they took the fans of the series into account on making this one. There are so many little details that really make this game so great.
