Love, love, love this game. It is wonderful for a child or adult. This game is wonderful because it does not involve any stressful items - no guns, nothing lurking in the shadows, and nothing trying to hurt you or someone else. It is simple and yet so satisfying. Relax on your island with your friends, harvest your fruit, fish, and bugs along with the fossils you find and just have a great time. Very informational for kids as well with the museum (tells all about bugs, fish, and fossils found and turned in to the museum for display). Cannot recommend this game enough. You may want to make sure that your loved ones know when it is animal crossing time! This game is very addictive and you can get lost with time spent on your island! Happy islanding!

Though it wasnt planned that way (or was it!? kidding!) the timing of this release could not have been better. We got our game 2 weeks into our stay-home plan and have enjoyed building the island up every day. It is a great little escape for anyone in our house who just wants to relax and chill out for a bit. An easy way to build a perfect in-control little pretend life while the world is so chaotic. Have always loved AC games, and this one is no exception!

This was a great gift for my 8 year old granddaughter. She loved it, since it was a basic game and the onscreen characters teach you to plan. That made it enjoyable for her, which equates to a Good purchase.

I really love this game, there is something so relaxing about taking care of a digital island and seeing your villagers! It is majorly addictive too and can take up a majority of your time if you let it. Such a cute game though and it doesn’t promote competition or violence, it’s just a calm game to play when you need to chill.

Game is great. Was shipped really quickly and safely. The game case looks great, the game itself works like a charm. Lots of fun and relaxing to just sit back and play for a few hours

So I bought this for my small children and I am also obsessed. I find it relaxing and a good way of teaching my children accounting and money management. Something new every day! Sure there are some kinks Id have liked ironed out, like multi-player screeds, etc.. like Mario Cart, but still fun!

Its good to have a relaxing, non stressful game to play after Frostpunk, Tis War Of Mine and Fallout 76 on the PS4. What I did not like about this game was the long dialog with interacting characters and the pause when starting a conversation. I wish there was a way to speed past these. Other than that, I like the low stress quests and system of reward for milestones. I like having a goal to upgrade your house and surroundings. Sometimes I just need to get away from the realities of life or worse, the stressful alternate realities of other video games.

The title is a bit exaggerative. I didnt buy them both for myself, I bought the digital copy for myself on launch day, and have been playing on my island for nearing on ten months. I bought my most recent copy for my step-nephew for the holidays and I hope that once I give it to him he will seriously appreciate this game as I did playing the Animal Crossing games since Wild World. Theres new elements to the game that significantly changed the Animal Crossing formula such as DIY, which is just ACNHs term for crafting, the player character and villagers live on a deserted island, which you can now add furniture and rearrange homes to make it as lively and as organized as the player chooses, rather than a small town, in which you stuck with what you have, and couldnt change as much. Same as the previous installments, you can catch bugs and fish, dig for fossils, and in the newest update you can dive under the sea to catch sea creatures like in New Leaf, this game is overall one of the best modern Animal Crossing games we have gotten. That isnt to say this game is perfect. On launch day, there was no way to save your island to the internet, it could only be saved to the console itself, so if you were to move a Switch profile to another Nintendo Switch, and that was the only profile that played the game, you would lose all of your progress and it would he difficult and sometimes downright impossible to get back. Luckily this problem has been somewhat solved, but that left a bad taste in my mouth that the developers didnt consider what certain players experiences might have been. And that isnt the only problem with ACNH, but that was one of the biggest ones. Overall, if you think the player would like lax gameplay and creating your own goals rather than them being shown to you, this is probably a good game for you to pick up. If not, you can try to play it anyway, but Im unsure if youll appreciate the concept, which is also okay. Everyones different. Theres no perfect game for everyone.

    Greater than one week

My kids and even myself have really enjoyed playing this game. It was a bit difficult to get everyone to play nicely since everyone shares just one island, but they have figured it out and now they are having a blast. Our 7 year old has it down and it is a bit harder for our 4 year old, but she has fun just walking around and talking to the animals. I must admit that even I enjoy it from time to time
