Got it So my son to ease the stress of manual leveling. His bed was warped and this completely fixed the issue.

So I kept hearing this product was awesome to have on an Ender 3. I got everything to get it to run on an Ender 3 (lcd adaptor, longer wires, etc) However, most tutorials did not have the same wires. Yellow/Red/Black in the tutorial. Yellow/Redish orange/Brown were mine. The Lcd adapter would just flicker. The plugin part of the wires fell off. Had to remove the board from the housing to use the bltouch with the stock wires. Stock board-> Once ditching the Lcd adaptor. I plugged into the board and the Arm clip lite up as I powered on. Like a match. Next was just a bsod. 2nd board-> After hours of flashing the board issues. The printer was alive but the bltouch was not? The new board had a direct slot for the bltouch wires. However, the board refused to work with the bltouch. It would probe when in the setting but wouldnt auto level or find Z. After switching to Resin printing I stepped away from FDM. Present, I start working on the Ender3. And caused the same problem to happen. This has to be a knockoff, I barely touched the board and it shorted the same ARM chip??? There are other sellers online or Amazon that WILL provide a better product because This IS NOT THE BLTOUCH. Im out two boards for a piece of plastic. It shouldnt be this hard. I mess with Raspberry Pis

I ordered my BLTouch through 3DMaker World after an order mishap from another vendor on amazon. Before receiving my BLTouch I had a BLTouch clone that was completely unreliable even on 3mm glass. The first picture is the measurements from the BLTouch clone, and the second is from the genuine BLTouch. I am using aluminum spacers to help with my warped bed. I will be double checking my spacers with calipers to make sure theyre the same length, and I just received a replacement bed from the manufacturer. I already had a pin27 board, and a version of the firmware ready to flash. The wires were easy enough to run through the cable sheath up towards the hot end. I will be in the market for another bed leveling device, and Ill most definitely be paying for another genuine BLTouch, and I already know who Ill be ordering from. Thank you AntClabs for the amazing product, and thank you 3D Maker World for supplying a new version of the BLTouch. I couldnt be happier with the purchase.

Learn to manually level your bed,and get a good process, once you manage to do that, youll be much happier with much better printing than using this beast. Far too much trouble, and reliability is a crap shoot. Dont even bother. Not to mention the wiring kit they include fits so loosely normally printer vibration will knock them loose causing a shorting hazard. Amazing the level of incomitance in product quality amazon allows to be sold.

I guess Im also one of those that got the Version 3.0 BLtouch. All it does is slam into my print bed. There isnt any documentation or support to fix this issue. Im hoping InsanityAutomation can come up with a fix. I spent all that time to disconnect the original sensor, and replace it with this BLtouch.......now I have an artistic piece of metal that looks like it works. Dont buy this item until they get the bugs worked out by updating the firmware.

I installed this the first time as quickly as I could, and didnt do the greatest job soldering headers to my i3 clones board. I didnt really like the instructions, so I just spliced my own connections to connectors that worked for me. I ran into a bunch of problems where it would work for one print then stop lighting up. After diligently checking my solder connections, I added a bunch of hot glue to all the connections for the sensor once they were plugged in well. Once I got it working reliably, I love it. I could manually level the corners of my bed (glass) and the center would always be too high, any print that used more than the center of the bed, some corner would always have trouble adhering and the first layer would be impossible to print. After installing the sensor, 9 times out of 10 I dont even watch the first layer go down, I click print and try to remember to check before the print is finished that it started out okay, and it always does.

Came as advertised with wires ready to plug and play into main board of Tevo Tornado Printer. Requires some software installation. Works well.

The most useful addition to a 3D Printer. If you are using the ender 5, a 1M extension is a must.
