> 3 dayI purchased this for my daughter about 7 months ago. She is 2 so I didn’t want to get anything really expensive, it’s only to play learning games and watch movies. A few months after purchasing it started running slow and freezing. Last month it started shutting off randomly. Called Apple support and tried to trouble shoot. Still was running slow. A few days ago, it started shutting off and on every two minutes. Took it to Apple and they told me the problem is the hardware. The tech told me the device has “panic codes” dating back to last year. Hundred of codes. I was also told that they device must have been reset to try and fix the issue, but that doesn’t fix the issue, it just temporarily stops it from shutting off and on. I brought this to the attention of the seller and they refused to do anything to help or fix the issue. I was told they don’t have a support department that can fix the issue. No hardware support. No software support. I was expecting that buying from Amazon Certified Resale I wouldn’t have these kinds of issues. It’s really sad that they would sell people defective equipment. Even sadder that my daughter now is without because of a faulty device.
