Filter works great for my little 5.5 gallon shrimp tank.

Great product for a filter ... I use it for shrimp keeping and it gives the shrimp a place to hide and acts like a filter

The foam is so thick and rigid that it doesnt suck much up. For that matter, Im not sure Ive seen any benefit from this sponge filter. Tried everything from low flow to a 100 gallon air pump in a 20 gallon high with no luck.

I picked this up because I need a filter that wasnt going to push around my betta. Fortunately this filter is gentle and my betta has no problem swimming everywhere in the tank (even around and next to the filter!) I was concerned about how big it would look in my tank but its about the same size as an internal filter and it replaces air stones so I figured in the end its saving me space.

Great sponge filter, works well in my 45 gallon tank.

Still going on my 25 gallon tank and it’s much thickness helps the tank be clear. Love it and it’s easier to clean. I would buy another few more
