Aquatic Experts 7-Inch Ring 200-Micron Felt Filter Socks (7 x 12, 2 Pack)

this year my pool had a mystery powder that the flocculants would not correct. these filters didnt fix the problem completely but helped more than anything. I would run the bot and put this in the skimmer at the same time.

These are the best, Worked sooo good. I was was using 100 micron filters before and my tank would get a lot of algae return in 3-4 days. But after I purchased this 200 micron filter my tank stays algae free and clean at least 2-3weeks. I just ordered another set of 2.

Too long for my application but they still work well

I love them, but didnt read to rinse before using. Maybe a red warning tag right on the filter sock would help us who dont routinely read the paper instructions. It did foam everywhere, and clogged up the air intake to the protein skimmer. Maybe the company should actually rinse them before selling the product. We all have expensive fish, and I am wondering what was in that massive amount of foam. Thank goodness the fish all seemed unaffected by the foam produced.

The plastic makes it a little harder to work with.Other then that there fine.

Smart purchase! Saved a ton over buying at our local aquatic store.

Perfect fit for my shallower sump. Full length filter socks would hit the bottom keeping the ring from making a good seal.

I love these socks! They fit so much better in my Tideline sump by Trigger Systems! The origional one that came with the sump is too long in my opinion and the 12 by Aquatic Experts is the perfict fit for the Trigger Sumps!! I will be ordering more soon!!!
