> 3 dayLook nice and holds sockets well. Has nice smooth rails so its easy to position holders for socket spacing. BUT: If you try to use them in other than a horizontal position, as soon as you take off a socket the holder slides down, to put it back one must slide the holder into position with one hand and use the other hand to replace socket. There are no serrations on the rail to hold the holder in place, just slides down as you go vertical and remove a socket. For other than horizontal use I recommend the Ernst Rails.

Greater than one weekI needed to replace all of my old school socket storage rails from the mid to late seventies. I don’t have a problem with the rail type storage as this works well for my toolbox layout. The old craftsman type rails had deformed to the point that they no longer retained the sockets or socket clips. When I opened the package I knew instantly that I had made the correct choice, the Ares rails are a work of art compared to the old school style of rails. The socket retention is perfect with just enough pressure to keep the socket on the rail while still allowing easy removal of the socket. My old rails ( with a cost of about the same back in the day) were not even close to this rails ease of use and retention. I was so impressed I decided to replace all of my socket rails with the Ares rails. You won’t be disappointed with the quality or functionality of this rail storage system.

> 3 daythe product is great and the sockets hold nicely in place. i wish the design on the ends were engineered better to keep the socket clips in place and from sliding off. all that is used is a rubber cap that does fall off rather easily and if unnoticed there goes some of your sockets. then you loose the rubber end piece and you have to always be careful when handling the rack
