> 3 dayHolds my sockets well after a year. My only complaint is that the end caps fall off easily, so Ive had several sockets attached to the clips slide off in my toolbox. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.

> 3 daySocket holders slide with little effort and are consistent force from size to size to engage using the 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 sticks. You can buy more sliders on line, but the 1/4 sticks could stand more sliders to hold sockets.

> 3 dayI bought a set of 3/8 rails and a set of 1/2 rails and so far I love them. The sockets snap tightly in place, the rails do not rust and if you need to add or remove the socket holder piece it’s very easily done.

> 3 dayThese did just what I needed. I cut one in half, and thats all I needed. I have a small specialized collection of sockets specific to appliance repair, and I needed just these to fit into a small bag. Perfect. So if your question is Can these be modified? the answer is yes.

> 3 dayI wish someone wouldve informed me that the rail can hold WAY more than the number of clips it has. Wouldve saved me a penny or two. I bought 4 clip rails for a STD shallow, MM shallow, STD deep, and MM deep set (48 total sockets). I only used 3 rails and robbed the clips from the fourth. Still plenty of room on all 3 rails. Just going to buy more clips now to add to my collection in the future since I have a bare rail lying around
