Astra Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades ,100 Count (Pack of 1)

Nice clean and close shaves. I have even managed to reuse the same side of the blade 6 times so far with no negative side effect, and a super close shave. Im not being cheap, I just want to push the blade as far as I could go as a benchmark. I will NEVER use a disposable shaver again! :)

Ive used Derby blades for a while. Ive found these to be a superior shave. Maybe its because Ive gotten better at shaving over the years, but I find I cut myself less with these blades. The only thing I dont like is that they do not come with a hard plastic protective sleeve. I like to put my old blades back into these case to safely dispose of them. Its defirinalty worth the couple extra bucks to buy these over the Derby blades.

I’ve been using a double edged safety razor for quite a while and had only ever used Shark blades (super chrome & stainless) for all of those years. I decided to try these Astra blades and I like them a lot better than the Sharks. I’m a woman so I use them primarily for pits and legs and occasionally bikini area. They are very sharp and do a great job cutting the hair with fewer stops to rinse the blade. I have had no skin irritation with these. I also like the waxy paper the individual blades are wrapped in. It’s a higher quality than the ones my previous blades had and it protects the blades a bit better and is better for throwing a few in a case/bag for traveling. I didn’t even finish the stainless sharks and will be sticking with the Astra blades for a while. Every set of 5 blades is packed in a small cardboard box. Convenient for storage and traveling. I use a Merkur razor and this is an excellent combo for me.

I have been using Derbys for the past few weeks and while those are nice blades, the Astras do seem to be sharper and work with my face better. Very smooth shave out of my Edwin Jagger DE. No pulling or tugging...just nice, beard slicing performance at a great price per blade. I havent had any nicks or weepers so far and the seller shipped them fast as lightning. Very good service/highly recommended.

High quality blades!

I get 2-4 good shaves out of each blade. I use these primarily in a body hair razor that uses three blades at a time so Ive got to glide it over large portions of my body and at weird angles. I would imagine youd get at least as many shaves with a traditional razor if not more if youre just going over your face.

100 blades for 10.39 thats super cheap Using them with a Feather Double Edge Shaving Razor I also have Feather razors the feather razors cost more at 13.95 for 50 but they are a better choice they seem to shave my face with less irritation it is nice to have a choice and I wont run out soon tho

I know everyone raves about feather razor blades. I will admit they are very sharp. I personally dont like a blade as sharp as a feather because of using a more aggressive shaving razor. Astras have given me great smooth shaves and at around $9 per 100 pack they are hard to beat on the pricing. I recommend giving one of this packs a try. If for some reason you dont like them, which is probably highly unlikely, you will only be out the price of a burger basket.

People get really dedicated to certain blades it seems. I bought these based on so many positive reviews. Bottom line, its a pretty good blade. Ive tried about a half dozen different types of blades. This blade seems to work for me about as well as anything Ive tried. Some people complain that they dull pretty fast, and that seems to be mostly true. But they are cheap enough its no big deal. I didnt realize when I bought them just how many blades where in the box. These will last me for quite awhile.

These were my first DE blades. I bought them based on the good reviews and for the longest time thought that something was wrong with my handle or my face, because I have not gotten a single decent shave once after using about 15 of them. These tug, snag, and refuse to cut hair anywhere on my face except the flattest section of my cheeks. I get a closer shave with less irritation from a $20 electric shaver than with these blades. Turns out that I got the new, garbage ones with the logo etched on one side rather than the old ones with the logo printed on both sides. Dont waste your time on these unless youre looking for a way to remove the skin from your neck while keeping the hair.
