Seems to have a made a big improvement for the room right below the attic access. It is no longer the hottest room in the house during the summer.

My house was built in the late 50s, saying I have issues with heat/cooling loss to the attic is an understatement. I purchased this product as a first step. At the same time, I went to a local hardware store and bought a thick insulating bag that uses velcro to attach to the opening. This product was easy to install with a staple gun. Its pretty easy to get in and out with the zipper. The other product was not as easy, and you should staple the velcro or the heat in your attic may cause the glue to melt. That product is not easy to remove and put back up when you go into the attic. This product, simply, did not make a difference. The other product makes a noticable difference.

It was okay but I still feel heat coming from the attic. I caulked it and stapled it in well but I guess I was just expecting it to insulate more. I would say it is as advertised other than not insulating as well as I would have liked.

I simply lined it up around my attic hatch, stapled it in place with 3/8 (10mm) staples. Then used an expanding foam sealant around the inside base to seal it. My thermostat is almost directly below my attic stairs. Previously, it would either run continously, or not at all. I can immediately see an improvement and expect to see lower energy bills as a result.

The first time I climbed the ladder to unzip the cover I felt I was in a pocket of hot air. I thought All this hot air would be in the attic if I did not have the tent. I kinda wish it was a bit thicker, but it works well as delivered. My installation would have looked better if I had set the staples right against the fold of the flap at the floor. As recommended, I ran caulk around all seams of the wood frame of the opening, and also where the tent meets the floor. I am very confident since I had this installed before the big freeze in January.
