My SOL Master Tracks recently fell apart after only 2 years of use, and I had to replace them quickly. My SOLs were a little on the bassier side, which I really liked, but Ill get used to these more balanced headphones. They feel great and dont make my ears hurt after wearing them 4+ hours at a time. Plenty of cables come with the headphones and its nice that theres even a 1/4 adapter. The only thing I dislike about these headphones is how much quieter they are than my SOLs, even though the SOLs were on the bassier side.

I am not sure if I got a refurb. It was part of a daily deal and when I received them the box was not sealed (is that normal?), but the box and headphones looked pristine. The sound is really weird and unsatisfying. There is no soundstage and the sound is very boring and all over the place with weird separation. The worst part is the high end it actually irritates me to no end hear the modified high end on almost all recordings (especially distorted guitars and vocalist with gravely voices). I guess I will return and see if it is just the pair I have or if really an issue with these headphones. I am extremely disappointed as all the reviews seemed to be so positive. I really dont get it. I have much lower priced headphones that are much more enjoyable (e.g. JVC HA-RX700 $40). I also have more expensive headphones that are way better (Phillips Fidelio X1). I even tried with iPhone 6, 160G iPod, and with Fiio E11 amp and still terrible! Actually, I think everyone who thinks they love these headphones should try the Phillips Fidelio X1 or X2 and tell me if they dont see the difference in pure musical enjoyment for all genres and no amp required.

Love em. Why not get the package with the case and headphones? Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Clarity, bass and build quality are over the top. For the price, expectations were low. In particular, I thought nothing could beat the sound created by titanium drivers until I heard the sound coming from these headphones. The proprietary drivers made with rare earth magnets make an enormous difference.

Simply the best, most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. My first pair were commandeered by my wife. Facing 26 hours flying time to India and back, I bought another pair. Fabulous sound and unmatched comfort. I like the removable chords on the x model.

Top quiality headphones for a good price, Bought the limited edition blue ones, Best headphones ive owned, Not to sure how they compare to the newer beats, but the old beats pro arent nothing compared to these!!

Most balanced headphones Ive ever had. Very clear. I wouldnt say that they are flat but I would say that they are balanced and clear. They are also built very solid and are sturdy.

Responds so well on all frequencies. Though the bass and treble are sharp they dont trouble the ears.
