Aveda Men Pure-Formance Grooming Clay 75ml/2.5oz

Ive tried several different brand but this one sucks out for two reasons. Its more of a jell than a clay which just feels better to use, and two the scent is nice and doesnt bother my sensitive nose.

I dont like my hair looking greasy but I wanted to be able to style it in the morning and not worry about it breaking down throughout the day. This is just the product I needed. Been using it now for a couple years and maybe have to buy a new one every 8-10 months. Price seems a bit high but itll last you a while.

I have tried so many pomades, clays and other similar products my head spins thinking about them. Avedas Grooming Clay is a wonderful product, but not without its shortcomings. First: This clay provides outstanding hold. Not stiff hold, just excellent mallable styling hold. The best part about this control as it does not fade throughout the day and withstands the near 100% humidity of the Gulf Coast. So for excellent control of shorter hair that lasts through the day, this is the product for you. Now for the shortcoming, at least for my use. I have a dirty brown hair, and prefer a slightly wet look with a bit of shine. Avedas Groom Clay leaves a straight matt finish, but with a ridiculous amount of experimentation, I have found a gel that mixes well with the Clay that gives me that bit of shine and wetness I was looking for without destroying the clays good properties.

Works perfectly, easy to apply, holds well, very little residue. Perfect in that sense. Unfortunately it smells horrible, almost caustic smelling... very sharp and unpleasant, like the worst smell in a hair salon If they could fix the smell then it would be perfect

Works great for holding without a wet or shiny finish. Its a good clay.

The product gives a good hold to hair but the smell of the product is very unpleasant. Although the hold of the product is not that good when its little windy outside.

The product works well - but the oder/scent is overpowering. They should take down the perfume level by an order of magnitude.
