> 3 dayI had difficulty with getting this to work with an AV receiver with pass through to the TV. Its DOES work directly connected to the TV with sound coming over the TV speakers rather than av receiver. Its only stereo sound anyway. Sometimes I have no sound, usually from a cold start when the TV and n64 have both been off. I just toggle back and forth between inputs once the console is on and displays an image and after a few toggles with the remote between hdmi 1, 2, 3, etc when I return to the hdmi input this is on Ill get sound. Honestly this is tolerable. Its probably a quirk of the analog to digital chipset used. Picture quality is fine. 16:9 mode stretches things a bit but its not as bad as I thought itd be. I did notice after a few hours the plastic housing of little converter was surprisingly warm. To me this indicates the analog to digital converter chip was probably extremely warm given I could feel the heat through air and plastic. Out of curiosity I cut a hole in the case and applied a small heatsink (see photo) to the main chip. It provides no tangible benefit or upgrade to the function of the device. Its not like it makes to picture clearer or anything. It does seem to dissipate a lot of heat though so it provides peace of mind that this device wont burn out after a month. Cooler electronics last longer than hot electronics. Its not necessary to do this though. It doesnt seem to automatically turn off when the n64 is off, its still warm to the touch. So I just unplug it from the 5v micro usb power when not in use. Auto power off and on would be nice but its a small gripe Overall Im just happy to play n64 again, without needing to keep an old school crt TV around.

> 3 dayAt first I was having issues. I would only get the blue screen but I cleaned my cartridges and it worked after so make sure you all clean the games first.

> 3 dayEl producto cumple con lo descrito, sin embargo se escogió esta opción por que indica que viene el cargador de 5v,lo cual es falso, en el paquete solo venían los cables y el convertidor nada más. La entrada micro USB vino doblada por dentro, da a pensar que son productos que no se prueban al ensamblar, lo pude arreglar, pero da desconfianza.

> 3 dayAll of the needed cables are included with this device, one thing to keep in mind is that it does require its own seperate power. However, a usb ac adaptor is included . The advantage of using this cable versus the standard cable that comes with the N64 is better picture and sound. I like these devices because they are also helping to ensure that future t.v.s will still work with classic systems.

> 3 dayI purchased this product to be able to display my GameCube onto my computer monitor, as well as being able to stream the game to friends to watch. There is a little switch to change aspect ratios to fit more modern television screens, however it does make the image a little more stretched, which is expected. One thing which I, as well as many others, have noticed, is the device appears to run a little warm (or even hot) after extended usage. The company makes you aware of it within the attached manual, however I do not believe this should even be happening to start with. Another thing to note is that my package did not come with the promised USB power adapter, which I had to contact the support team in order to get that sorted out. To my it is not that big of a deal, however I did believe it was note-worthy.

> 3 dayI cant plug my n64 into my Vizio TV since it is an unsupported resolution (I guess old resolutions just dont work on new TVs). With this, the tv sees it as 1080p and lets me play n64 on my TV. The latency seems pretty decent too, It is really unnoticeable when youre playing most games, except maybe smash, but still if youre just casually playing, This is perfect.

> 3 dayI couldnt believe my luck when I dug my N64 out of our crawlspace. It was like finding long lost treasure. Eyes aglow, I fixed to hook it up and relive parts of past lives... But the hookups dont work with modern TVs or amps. I was surprised at the depth of my disappointment. Its stupid, I know, but still... Enter this little beauty. Its so simple: Plug it into your N64. Plug the other end into the HDMI input on your TV. Instant conversion. Its that easy. I was hacking and slashing my way through Gauntlets dungeons in no time.
