Belkin 6-Outlet Home and Office Power Strip Surge Protector, 4ft Cord

I bought two of these 16 months ago. One died after a year, the other is still working. I am not deducting any stars for the lack of a light or that the outlets are placed so that a three prong cord or a brick style USB adapter takes two slots since that could be seen on the photo when I bought it. I got what I paid for at the time on the one that is still working. Prices have since come down so the replacement I’m ordering has 8 widely spaced slots plus three USB slots and an on light at a lower price. It only comes with a six foot cord but I’m unwilling to pay more just to get a shorter cord.

The arrangement makes it difficult to use all the plugs. Some adapters will take up area of two plugs unfortunately. To mitigate this they could have arranged it horizontally instead of vertically, but oh well. Good product overall.

One of the pictures shows the plug to be 90 degrees to the wire, but that isnt the case. Works ok, but....

The Belkin Surge protector is fine for the cost. The only drawback that I had was the limited space for oversized plugs. If you have more than one large plug ... look for a dual strip whose design allows for many oversized plugs.

What can I say.., it is what it is and does what it is supposed to do

For 5 dollars it is great. Does what it should. 2 issues though: the cord is too short and the power switch is located on the rear of the product near the power cord.

I like the power switch on the top by the power cord.

So far so good. Ill update this if my surge protector has to be utilized (hopefully not). This is better than some of the others since it has a longer cord.

I specifically ordered this item looking for a 4ft cord. The cord is about 1 to 2ft long. Unfortunately, I didnt have time to return the item. Wasted money.
