This is perfect for my swing. I originally just had a screw in bolt holding it in the beam. But people would spin and cause it to unscrew. This is what you want if you have a hanging swing. Very safe and holds tight.

Used it for a nook style swinging chair indoors off a ceiling truss. Worked fine.

These are great quality, and silent when swinging. I purchased two of these mounts. We used them on two chair swings in our family room. They are completely silent smooth and strong. I have tried a couple of different options for these swings. This is the first one that was perfect. Highly recommended. No problem with the pin as described in other reviews, but it is not a kids swing, its an adult hanging chair in a nice family room, so that may be the difference. No problems at all. (I did spray paint them to make them match the room decor)

Easy to install

Worked great to hold up an indoor pod swing into a Sheetrock/ stud ceiling.

Bought this to hang a chair to the ceiling because the hardware that came with the chair was totally unusable and poorly designed. This hardware was perfect: solid, clean design, easily installed into a 2 x 6 ceiling stud.

We tried this based off all the positive reviews, it worked out so well we bought another one a week later to hang up an additional swing chair. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a solid mounting kit that requires heavy loads to be secured with the smoothness of bearings. My wife, child, myself and our 28 lb cat, (approx 380 lbs total) in a 500lb max rated hammock chair) that rotates, swings and spins like butter swimming on wd-40.

I installed this for my hammock chair. Its rock solid and I like the ball-bearing swivel. Very satisfied.

This product is being used in an aerial set-up and only needs to hold 100 pounds. It installed easily in a cathedral ceiling. You will need someone who isn’t afraid of heights or drills. Durability is unknown at this time, but seems assured.
