I used the Mango butter to whip up some body butters using different essential oils. The item is packaged well, easy to use and very clean. I made several batches of body butters and each type of essential oil worked really well with this Mango butter. If youre melting the Mango butter, remember the butter will break. Even if you put it in the fridge, the butter cannot be unbroken. However, regardless of the style you use to mix up the Mango butter, the product itself works well unheated or heated.

I am looking forward to using this in place of shea butter, cant beat the no smell- heaven sent, but its harder to squeeze out although dissolves easily in hand. Update: MAY 19-- completed use of butter Lovely faint scent to this butter, beautiful glow upon dissolving with warmth of skin. Olny issue is how hard it was get it out of the plastic bag each time for use, otherwise.. best butter ever..

I Absolutely love this mango butter. It has a very mild smell which is why I chose it for my DIY body butter as opposed to shea butter. Since the start of winter, my skin had been incredibly dry and my regular natural lotion just wasn’t cutting it. I made whipped body butter using 1/4 cup of jojoba oil and 1/2 cup of this mango butter and it has been excellent for my dry skin. The mango butter sinks into my skin fairly quickly and it leaves behind a soft, healthy glow. I have also used it (by itself) as a hair treatment. I melt the mango butter, section my hair and saturate it, leaving it for 30 minutes and then wash as usual. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all and gives it a nice, soft shine. I will be purchasing more from this company when I run out.

It melts over a double boiler easily but when mixed with DIY ingredients it has a tendency to harden into little fragments of wax like fragments. Like pieces of lint. I like that it has zero fragrance. So if you don’t mind residual fragments of granny texture, then this is a good product for the expense. But if you plan on selling that same product, you may want to strain it first.

This butter becomes oil very quickly. Extremely light. I have an amazing brand of blended shea butter with a not so amazing smell. I am using the mango oil as a base using 4 parts mango butter to 1 T shea. This makes both products and me, happy as I can now use the shea butter with out getting a headache. Goes on very luscious and creamy. Excellent for cracked feet or legs. I do not use butters in my hair

I like this mango butter because it is natural without anything harmful or other ingredients, relatively affordable, and it isnt greasy!

Item was great. When I received it, it looked like maybe it melted or perhaps they dont fill the jar all the way? I was slightly disappointed with that, but other than that it product itself was great. Scent is super soft, not abrasive at all.

Package inside a bag within a bag. Upon opening the inner bag, there is a bit of a pungent smell. NOT to worry; the smell doesn’t transfer as you are using minimal amount. The directions advise you to use a peas size amount, warm in hands. Despite moving it around hands, to get a useable oil product. I still had a grains . I tried placing the amount in microwave and STLL HAD GRAINS . Photos are what was left after microwave and hands to get the product to melt. I got this for my hair for the LCO method. It left not oily residue (applied on wet hair). Let’s see if my hair will like it after this amount Is depleted. I don’t notice a smell on hands or hair , only when opening the inner bag. UPDATE: So nice my last review I used for a LCO method and after washing my hair, I am still getting granuals of mango butter when combing . I had hoped it would melt or washout.

Ive been using this shea butter as a part of my DIY face wash (whipped up with almond oil & shea butter [and ground oats as an exfoliant for the mornings]) and my skin has never looked better! I have super sensitive skin and have had no issues at all. And no, it doesnt smell like mango...and its not supposed to. It has a rich earthy smell. My only complaint would be the packaging; it comes sort of shrink wrapped, which makes it a little difficult to get out, but not a big deal :)
