Mango butter, where have you been all my life? Seriously, I began making lotion bars and cold-process soap a few years ago and have always used Shea butter (along with other butters and oils) in my recipes. Unrefined Shea butter is just unpleasant...refined Shea butter is so excessively greasy. Mango butter is a perfect balance; it is not overly greasy and it has a pleasant, mild scent. The scent of this product reminds me a little of Play-Doh, but not nearly as strong!! Like a very light natural smell. I did not notice any unpleasant or foul odor from this butter. It was a very nice creamy white color and it sliced beautifully and easily. I am definitely purchasing more!!

I love the package of the product however some area’s have little grains when you rub it in hands and on your skin and it cane be annoying however i love the product.

Third times a charm! The first time wasn’t too bad. The second time, the product was “dry” and grainy. Same with the last order. I use the mango butter to make body butter and it was hard to whip. I had to melt it down because it was grainy and lumpy. Once I melted it down and re-whipped it, it became lumpy again. It also smelled. I’m not buying from here again and I’m sending the lookin butter back.

I am rewriting my review. My first batch was amazing, soft wonderful product. The second order was grainy and unsatisfactory. I reached out to the company and they were very prompt about replying and issuing me a refund as well as apologizing for the faulty product. I will purchase from them again.

Item was great. When I received it, it looked like maybe it melted or perhaps they dont fill the jar all the way? I was slightly disappointed with that, but other than that it product itself was great. Scent is super soft, not abrasive at all.

Ok, so the mango butter review- this is a wonderful product for those who have a nut allergy and/or for whatever reason are unable/dont like to use the shea butter. It comes in the form of a block, it is creamy & ultra moisturizing when rubbed with hands and applied to the skin directly and it mixes really nicely with other oils for all the DIYers out there. It is well packaged and even comes with information that directs you to a link for free recipes. I have been making a face cream with shea butter that works wonders on my dry skin. My grandson, who is allergic to nuts, has extremely dry skin. I decided to make the same cream for him using mango butter in place of shea. I definitely prefer shea butter. But not everyone can use it. The consistency is similar to shea, but it whipped up a bit differently. Its still made an amazing face cream. I am excited to see how it works on my grandboy! Thank you for this product. It was exactly as described. I will be buying more.
