Quick and easy was able to use my current app and did not have to do anything adding the device it was automatically discovered.

The plug was difficult to set up using BN Link Smart but was easier using the SmartLife App. I had a dimmer issue and the seller kindly replaced the unit with another. Customer service has been very responsive and stand behind the product. I highly recommend the product.

Slow to respond on buetooth

I bought this to go with some string lights I installed over my patio. I was specifically looking for something that could be controlled via Bluetooth because I live in a two family house and wanted both apartments to be able to control it without having to be on the same Wi-Fi network or share a physical remote. I also didn’t want to worry about batteries or losing the remote, so phone app control seemed ideal. After reading other reviews saying Bluetooth didn’t work I was concerned, but bought it anyway because I didn’t find good alternatives with Bluetooth. The apps and the process of connecting them to the dimmer is the only criticism I have. After installing the manufacturers app I couldn’t get it to work with Bluetooth, but once I installed the Smart Life app the Bluetooth controls worked fine. It also worked well via Wi-Fi and via Google Home by voice command. If you are entirely non-technical just buy one with a physical remote. By the way, I did not try to set it up initially using bluetooth. All settings are retained after being unplugged, so if you plan to use it with bluetooth you dont need WiFi to reach the area where youll actually be using it. I plugged it in inside my house, configured it via WiFi and then moved it to the outdoor location. The dimming function was excellent but it turns out the lights at their brightest are just fine, so I don’t anticipate using the dimmer function — I’ll just be using the physical on/off switch on the unit. It is still a great deal for me as it is a great price even just for a waterproof outdoor switch.

This was so easy to setup and use with the Smart Life app. It was a great option to control and dim the lights on my deck.

This item works too the tee! I found it VERY easy to install. Extremely easy. Just load the app on your phone. Allow the app to connect to your Bluetooth via your wifi. Add your password....DONE! Ive replaced all of the incandescent lights to LED, 2,000 of them. I know, crazy! But we got them on sale after Christmas last year. We got them almost for free from Ace Hardware . This dimmer works perfectly with the LED Lights from 100 percent down to 1 percent. NO flickering at all! We keep our tree up all year long and call it out Seasonal Tree. We decorate it with whatever session it may be. Soooo, yes, Id recommend this to anyone. Even to my family, ha ha. P.S: IM GIVING IT 15 STARS!

How the ability to set a remote timer for outside string lights on multiple schedules for weekday and weekends is great. I went back and bought other items from this company that works on the APP. LIFE Changing on how you operate items around your house.

Although each outlet can be controlled individually by the Smart Life App, if you want to turn on ONE device, but not the other, manually, with out using the app, you cant. The power button top of the device powers both off...or on. So, if you have one device turned off, and one one, and you hit the power button on the outside of the device, you will be controlling both. I have a couple of other WIFI outlets like this and it is INCONVENIENT. I suggest you look for the devices that have two external power buttons. I forgot about this limitation, bought this one...but it is going back. Sorry BN-Link!

I had no issues getting this set up. My pump is plugged into my garage and the pump itself is all the all the way on the other side of the pool. I got this set up to be on a schedule, turning the pump on at 7 am and off at 7 pm for now. I can easily adjust it when needed with the app on my phone or via Alexa. It’s perfect for what I needed. Totally recommend.

I like everything about this product. Dual sockets are controlled individually or as one. Setup with Go Smart (just like SmartLife) was easy and quick.
