We recently adopted an un-neutered male cat, and could smell when he had urinated in the litterbox from down the hallway. I considered using scented diaper bags, or even doggy poop bags, and happened to see these when searching for a solution - the reviews alone were enough for me to at least try a box, and at 90 bags for around $15, I decided it was worth a shot. These things really work! I tend to scoop his litter as soon as I know he has used it, and these bags seriously do not let and odour escape. I can toss one in the kitchen bin, and even my husband (who has a pretty sensitive sense of smell) cannot tell theres a bag of used litter in there, regardless of whether its poop or just pee... sometimes both. If you are struggling with smells from your cats litterbox, I strongly urge you to try these bags.

Perfect for scooping the litter everyday, especially since plastic bags at grocery store are no longer available in our area.

Using these to control the odor from cleaning out our cats litter box & has been an improvement. If tied tightly & thrown into the trash at night, (carry the bag out the next morning), the kitchen does not smell like his litter box. They will not control odor for longer periods tho. Have not had one that tore or broke open in any way so far. The opening of the bag is just big enuf for a wide litter scoop. Work good for what I needed them for so will buy them again.

bought xxs, s and these medium. i like these pretty blue colored bags best. the size of these medium is perfect for cleaning 3 extra giant petmate litter pans of overnight waste of currently 10 kitties (using micro crystal clumping litter and grass seed clumping litter..with heavier clumping clay litters you will probably want large size if you have lots of cats too). they surprisingly hold in the smell/odor pretty well for the 3 days i have them in metal litter can till trash day. The xxs are great for during day here and there stinky poop clean ups in our main living area litter, the S work well for my before bed clean ups of all boxes. Glad i decided to try these, nice to be able to open litter cans holding waste bags without getting bombarded by a horrid stink of death smell.. pic shows bag squared and same height and width but, about 1 height of bottom of bag is not as wide as rest of bag, it is about 2 less.

I have a Litter Genie and I was tired of it getting nasty, so I started shopping around for other options. I saw a competitor to the litter genie that looked decent bu it was pricey. I contemplated just using grocery bags but those often had holes and I couldnt throw them in trashcan indoors. I looked into doggie poop bags but they were flimsy and also something that needed to be put in the outdoor trash due to scent. I then came across these BOS Odor sealing bags. I was skeptical at first and thought the price was ridiculous. Since I was curious about all the good reviews and it at least looked to solve the problem, I purchased them. The first time I used them, I sifted our 3 boxes and sealed one of the bags, then i went in for a sniff. I couldnt smell anything!! I went to throw it in the kitchen trash when my girlfriend says dont put that in there! The whole kitchen will smell!. I had her smell it and she had the same reaction. The next day I came home, and she was using one to clean the boxes. She said that she couldnt believe they worked like that and was excited to try. Weve never had a bad break or leak odors. They are strong, durable and we put them in our main trashcan where they sometimes sit for 2-3 days and weve never smelled it. I bought these almost 3 months ago and at the time, I thought the price was really high. Looking back, Ive used the same $15 box since mid July (its mid September now) and theres still a good amount left. We use a single bag a day and it easily holds the waste of 2 cats. I will be buying these again and I hope they get added to autoship.

I felt stupid buying bags just for the cat poop but I was using plastic grocery bags and they reeked within a few hours. I felt so gross walking out to the dumpster with a grocery bag of poop 2x a day but it would stink out my trash can otherwise! These make it so I can wait til the trash is actually full before I have to take it out. So far I haven’t encountered any holes or rips, they’re large enough to scoop into without being obnoxiously big.

I normally use old grocery bags for my cats litter. This always caused a smell in my garbage so I looked for something better. These bags are the best. Big enough for large scoops and small enough so you dont feel wasteful. Highly recommend.

So, we have 2 cats that pee and poop like it’s going out of style. We also live in a small condo and it’s super inconvenient to take the trash down everyday to prevent kitty odors. We bought a diaper pail and were using cheap waste bags we bought at the pet store to clean the litter everyday, but every time we opened the trash it was like getting punched in the face. So then we invested in a diaper pail. But despite the diaper pail (which has an odor trapping lid) there was still a prominent kitty pee odor near the diaper pail. I thought we would just have to live with it. BUT THEN I FOUND THESE!!! Omg. It’s gone. The smell is totally gone. We throw the diaper pail trash out once per week. Using these bags, it’s odorless for that long. If you have pets and want to eliminate odors as much as possible, and are as lazy as we are, these bags are a MUST. They aren’t too expensive, and they are perfect for litter waste.

Now these bags are literally amazing. I know it says for cats but we use them for our dog also. Let me tell you something, you can throw these in your kitchen garbage can after you’ve collected the waste, and you will smell absolutely nothing. All that is collected throughout the week from 4 cats and 1 dog, leaves absolutely no smell in the garbage can’s whatsoever. Just amazing! My wife cleans out 3 litter boxes two times a day. (2 inside and one outside). She uses 1 bag each time and then tosses them in either the kitchen garbage can or the garage can in the garage depending on time. Strong, good size opening for scooper and won’t create a problem if extra litter gets in there. The reason I’m thrilled is because my wife found 4 kittens outside that were only a week or two old. She brought them in and 10 months later, they really have alerted us to some smell saving ideas...if you know what I mean. Luckily we came across these amazing bags. I’m thinking our neighbors walking by on trash day appreciate that we found these amazing cat bags also!? We spent the better part of 9 months trying different bags from grocery store bags to other cat bag brands. All of them left horrifying stench smells in the garbage cans. At one point I was having to keep both our garbage cans outside the garage because they stunk so bad. We would have to leave our trash cans outside all day with the lids off after trash pick up. HOA got upset because they were on the side of the house. Now, because of these bags, we keep them back in the garage. Without hesitation, we highly recommend these bags.

The price is too high. The way the bags cover the bad smell is really good. It can be a little difficult to fit top of scooper into the bag when cleaning feces and urine out of the litter box. Just an inch wider across top would help a lot. Glad this product is available.
