Boyd Enterprises ABE16742 Chemipure Elite for Aquarium, 6.5-Ounce

I have three 5 gallon tanks. My first purchase was the single 3.1oz for nano tanks. With the the 3.1oz I was still using more of the product than necessary. It took me a minute but the 6.5oz is the same price as the 3.1 oz. So I now get the 6.5 oz, cut the bag open, measure the loose Chemi Pure Elite into thirds and re-bag it into mesh bags. Based on my rough calculations, a little over 2oz of the Chemi Pure Elite is still plenty for each of my five gallons. I absolutely love this product. My tanks are clearer than ever, the algae problem I was having is gone and now that Ive found a way to get close to a proper amount for a5 gallon tank, the price is very, very reasonable. Basically, its $10.00 every 3 months. If youre wondering whether or not the product works as stated....it does and than some. I have to be very careful about anything I put in my tanks or filters as I have freshwater shrimp, which are very sensitive to many things. No problems with the shrimp and the Chemi Pure Elite. Tanks are clear as been and shrimps are healthy as horses.

Unfortunately my work in the Aquarium industry does not leave me with a lot of time to maintain my own tanks. Chemipure keeps my tanks in pristine condition even when I neglect to do water changes as often as I should.

This product is a miracle my turtle tank was cloudy and just in a couple hours it was clearing up. I tried everything to clear it & nothing worked. Chemi pure is all I will use for now on.

I use this in my 14 gallon salt tank. The water is crystal clear.

I have used chemipure for 16 years, and never used anything else, because it is already in a bag and uses the best carbon. I add this to my chemical chamber in my trickle type wet/dry filter to control algae when needed along with 2 original chemipure units that run year round. Make sure you rinse it until the water runs clear and make sure you replace it every 3 months.
