Great product. Works well to reduce phosphates, and keeps water clear. It reduced my algae growth considerably: used to have to clean the tank every week, now once every three weeks.

I’ve heard great things about this... i am excited to see long term results. so far it has kept everything very clear. the reason why i give it 4/5 is that it comes wet and looks wet disgusting. after doing research i find that it is supposed to come like that! that’s why everyone here is giving one stars :) i’d like there to be a label saying it’s supposed to be wet, it would prevent a lot of negative feedback !

This stuff is fantastic! I have used it for years in my salt tanks.

I used Chemi-pure Elite in all of my reef tanks as an alternative to standard carbon. There is a noticeable improvement in water clarity and it does a reasonably good job at keeping nitrates and phosphates under control. They recommend changing it out every six months, but I seem to get better results by doing it every three.

I run this in my C3 filter on a 20 gallon long shell Dweller tank. IT Keeps it crystal clear ,odor free, phosphate free, for 3 months

does exactly what it says it would do.....keeps water crystal clear........and parameters where you want them.... I have a salt water aquarium without a skimmer and this does wonders...

I prefer this stuff over purigen. My water seems much clearer and this stuff lasts longer. I will continue to buy this product.
