Brighton: Training Days Book 2

Awwww you guys! Brighton and Knox were so cute. I love how Bright climbs Knox like a tree because he hates walking! I still love all scenes with Jeremy and I cant wait for his story. This book has low angst and was just super sweet. I loved it alot.

I really feel that I need a Knox of my own. These guys were hilarious. I also feel the need to invest in a treasure chest.

A LOL, sweet story where Brighton and Knox finally get together after having pined for each other as friends for years. It’s really sad how Brighton felt expendable yet really sweet how steadfast Knox remained no matter what shenanigans Brighton got up to. This book will make you laugh (snorting optional), cringe, go awww, and immediately want Jonathan’s story! Keep em coming. Voluntary ARC review.

I love J.D. Light books. This series is no exception. Very, very enjoyable read.

I was a little wary stepping into this, because Brighton basically draps himself on Knoxs shoulders like a pet when they walk places. But it makes more sense when you realize Knox is a power lifter, and Brighton is a feather light yoga teacher. So, youve got your big/smol trope, a lot of banter. This is honestly super cute, and it really does sell me on more of the authors work. Its fun in a light way, like a prose manga.

Much like Chandler, Brighton is a super short bit of fluff showing when he and Knox go from friends to lovers. Both of them have been oblivious to the other being interested. Knox invites Brighton to come live in his spare room when Brightons aunt rents his apartment out from under him. When Knox finds Brighton having fun on his bed, he starts to wonder and things move fast from there. Not much depth or detail, but it is a fun little read. I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This book was so much fun to read. Take a dancer/yoga instructor that cant stand walking anywhere and a buff gym coach that doesnt mind having an extra appendage and you get a really cute story of friends-to-lovers. Brighton is such a fun character and Knox is the perfect counterpart. I look forward to seeing what antics they get up to in future books with the other lovable characters from the gym.

I found myself absolutely charmed by Brighton and Knox. They were introduced briefly in the first book, however that can be read as a standalone read. Their story is quirky and adorable. Both characters are likable and fun to read. I was surprised as to how quickly it was over, but a nice one nonetheless. I am interested to read the next one.

this was so adorkably sweet.. lol brighton is this adorable cute dorky guy.. who is fun and interesting and made me smile.. knoxx is brightons best friend.. his everything.. and these two together were just so much fun. i smiled so much during this story!

A fun, entertaining read that made me smile from beginning to end. I love the characters of Knox and Brighton from the first book o was happy to see them get their full story. Knox, a sweet guy intimidating guy, and Brighton, a mess of a Mann are friends secretly sharing an interest in the other, but neither is willing to do anything about it. A life circumstance throws them together and soon they move from friends to lovers. Both characters are so realistically but I love that Brighton is a mess of a guy, clumsy, clueless and insecure, but one you find yourself rooting for. Both are unique characters. My biggest complaint is the story was short, I wanted so much more as I think they have so much more story in them. I am hopefully the story will continue if subsequent books. Love seeing the other characters from book one, but not necessary to have read that book to enjoy this one. I like that this was a fun read, with no drama or craziness, just two crazy guys falling in love. I did receive an advanced copy and leave this honest, unbiased review.
