This thing is a COLOSSAL piece of crap; be prepared to take it apart and put it back together at least once a week depending on how much you use it. The labels are constantly getting stuck inside the machine So eventually it will just stop printing and youll have to take it apart and pray that you dont break some of the cheaply made plastic that the device is made out of.

Will not pair to Bluetooth, I followed instructions exactly. I downloaded programs at least 7 times. Got it to work 1 time, not worth time and trouble, this model anyway.

This printer does not work for bar code printing.

We bought three of these printers to go with PCOs Check-In system. Weve been using them for almost 6 months. The only problem we had is where one of the printers is located with spotty wifi connections. There is no ability to hardwire the printer, so make sure you have good access points near the printer. Pros: - Easy set up on MacBook with Brothers driver - Connects easily with Planning Center Onlines Check-In application - Quality design - Prints quickly - Cuts automatically - Large power brick with long cords - Includes printer to USB jack for a printer cable for easier setup Cons: - If you have spotty internet, you will need to make sure you set the printers up as Static IP Address - No hardwired ethernet cable option (only WiFI) - It would be nice if it has a display screen when you have an error and for set up I highly recommend this Brother printer for anyone who is looking to do digital sign-in and print sticker labels with PCOs Check-In system!

This printer was a little tricky for me, a not so tech savvy person, to set up, but works great! When you change the paper roll you have to instruct the printer in which paper you are installing but other than that, it’s a great little printer.

amazing label printer. Can do a lot of things with it and its very convenient to just print it off your phone (android for me, havent tried from iphone or any other operating system phones)

We use this to run the check-in system at our church and it works very well. Theres barely any lag between our iPads and the printers and the self cutting feature is awesome!

I am absolutely furious with Brother right now. I am trying to set this up and had to stop and write this review. I got this label printer because on the product page (model QL-810W) it currently says it can be used with a MAC and can be used wirelessly. One of the first things the directions say is that this model is for Windows and needs USB connection....GRRRRRRRR! Not to mention the directions are all over the place with the 820NWB model. Be sure you have a lot of time to set this up. It is not a plug and play label maker. I have several other Brother products including printers that are practically plug and play. It makes zero sense this item is not. I am going to go back now and figure out how I can use this since only my laptop is Windows based and I really dont want this label maker tethered to it by a USB cable.
