BV 15FT Security Steel Cable with Loops, Braided Steel Flex Cable, Bike Lock Cable 3/8 Inch, for U-Lock and Padlock

I work in IT and bring alot of expensive technology items to work- this THICK and long (15 feet!) cable can be used in conjunction with other cables/locks to secure your tech items to desk/work space! Thumbs up and good value here!!

So it’s a security cable. A good pair of cable cutters or half a dozen items from my garage will cut this thing in seconds. If you want to make sure your stuff stays yours it costs about 15 bucks a foot for chain you can’t cut. However this is going to keep my generator from being put into the back of someone’s truck randomly or more than likely stupid kids.

The quality appears good. I did not do a strength test. For reference I had a much more expensive Master Lock cable that rusted through inside the clear vinyl case midway through the length of the cable after five-years.

Nice to have a long flexible cable, but can be cut very fast and silently. Would not recommend for anything valuable that is left unattended. Bike was stolen right next to our tent, didn’t hear a peep.

Ive been super happy with this. I bought two 15ft long cables and they are easy to loop around things and super durable. I was worried they would be really stiff, but they are really easy to use!

Used this cable to secure my Tenere 700 onto the trailer to help prevent turds from stealing the bike while traveling across country. With the state of our country and the dramatic rise in thefts and vandalism I wasn’t going to take a chance and have the bike walk off when I have my back turned. The cable is stout enough to make it a minor chore to cut through with a hacksaw and probably a couple minute task to cut with bolt cutters… which the mouth breathers have an aversion to (any amount of work or effort). The cable along with a good lock serves that deterrent.

Not much to say about a cable except you cannot find one any better.

I have no more worries about storing items at my cabin using these cables. It would take somebody way more work than it would be worth to try to but through these cables. love them.
