Outstanding vinyl-coated cable. This was surprisingly heavy and substantial in my hand but it works perfectly for securing patio furniture, BBQ, bikes on the back porch, workout equipment, etc. Im so glad I didnt go with a 10-footer either. One thing I didnt factor in was the plastic sheathing around the 3/8 cable. With the sheath the overall diameter swells to almost 1/2 inch (which is an important dimension to know when buying a padlock)!

Needed a bike cable long enough to wrap around the base of our a/c unit and then thread through the frames of 3 kids bikes. This fir the bill with plenty of extra length to make it so the kids (4, 6, & 8) can maneuver their bikes around enough to get them in and out on their own; it doesnt require intense tetris-ing to make fit all the bikes into the space. We have a combination master lock thats working well with it and that the kids can also manage on their own. Someone borrowed one of our kids bikes a few weeks ago and left it on a sidewalk a block & a half away. It probably was some other neighborhood kid, so we werent looking for a super heavy duty lock - I doubt wandering kids are carrying bolt cutters in my neighborhood, but this is perfect for deterring any other reckless joyriders.

Needed security cable for my new ebikes. Needed two cables, but only ordered one to verify that the quality met my standards (Im only couple of miles from a Kohls store where I can make returns). Found the quality to be great, so ordered my second cable that night.

I used this cable on a trailer, to tie up the wheels and prevent someone from stealing it. Someone broke into our yard and cut the cable. They were able to cut this cable like it wasnt there. Im thinking chain would have taken them longer, because theyd have to cut at least through the whole link. (They didnt get the trailer because a neighbor saw them and scared them off.)

I wanted a cable with a plastic covering to lock up my dirt bikes when at events and in the garage.

Feels like a quality product. It can easily loop through itself. A very good price for the length. Would I be surprised if someone could cut the cable with bolt cutters? No. But thats not a reflection on this specific cable! There are plenty of videos showing how easily it can be done. Solid U bolt locks can be easily cut, even a harden log chain can be cut with a $40 cordless angle grinder. I would recommend this to a friend and would buy again if needed.
