CanaKit 3.5A Raspberry Pi 4 Power Supply with PiSwitch (USB-C)

I was excited to use this power supply with a switch to make power control of my Raspberry Pi 4gb simpler but when I plugged it in yesterday the Pi had some trouble turning on. At first I thought it was just a display cable issue or a setting in my monitor, but then I noticed the Pi was actually rebooting itself.

Works like it is supposed to. I guess this is one of those items that if you dont think about it, that means its doing its job. I havent thought about mine till I wrote this review.

It lies it doesnt work for the pi 4, its output is only 1.5 amps and the pi 4 needs 3 or 2.5 with out any usb devices.

I just got this kit because of issues I was having with the Vilros power supply that came with a Vilros Raspberry Pi kit I purchased. I should have listened to the recommendations to stay with the Cana Kit branding. This PS is much better quality in every aspect. The cables are thicker and stronger. The power delivery is much better. I was having constant shut downs with the Vilros PS and never realized what the problem was. Now that I have the Cana Kit PS I have had no shut downs or re boots.

This is my 2nd power supply for my Raspberry pi 4 type units works great a worth the money, I would recommend it good buy for the money.

I got this thinking I could use the PISwitch portion with a lithium battery pack. But, it doesnt work, perhaps requiring the 60 Hz from the wall outlet to make a clock signal to power its own chip.

Nothing special to say. I can just trust CanaKit for quality

Good PSU for the money. My only complaint is I wish there was a cover for the push button to help prevent accidentally turning it off

Solid, reliable power supply - if you have a Pi4, you need this supply.
