Greater than one weekI bought this hat for my 5 year old thinking that it would be a little bigger than it actually is. It’s fine for now, it fits her and she can wear it for the rest of this winter because she’s petit, but I’ll have to buy her another in a larger size for next year. The description of the size was misleading. I would call this an infant size hat. Otherwise, it’s a great hat. Warm, made well, nice color.

My little guys head is fairly large so we actually use the child or youth hats and they fit perfectly with a little bit of room for him to grow during the winter time. I also prefer to purchase these here because in the event of get lost or taken at daycare Im only out the nine or ten dollars which is significantly cheaper than if you try to buy these in a store that carries Carhartt

> 3 dayI was skeptical about this hat since I couldn’t try it on my baby before purchasing but I’m glad I did. He’s 1 and the hat fits perfectly with some room to grow. It has very good stretch and he seems comfortable wearing it for some period of time without taking it off which says a lot since he hates wearing any other beanie. I got him this to put in his Christmas basket and he loves it, he tries to put it on by himself, it’s so cute. Definitely recommend especially now that it’s getting colder, it keeps his head really warm!

> 3 dayWe hope to wear this for the next few falls/winters! My son is 5 months old with normal range/proportional measurements according to the dr, and this fits with plenty of room to grow. It is stretchy. I have the adult version so kind of knew what to expect as far as material & quality but I was afraid it would be way too big. It’s thicker than the typical cotton baby hats, good for colder temps.
