> 3 dayI bought the 8-12 year youth size and it fits my 5 year olds head perfectly. I really like these hats. They’re thick and keep his head warm. However, he is 5 and keeps losing them. This is the 3rd time I’ve bought one in less than a month. If that doesn’t relay how nice these are then I don’t know what else does.

> 3 dayI bought the tan watch hat for my son two years ago when he was an infant and it is the best baby hat! Warm, stretchy, comfy- it is the only hat he wears with no problem all winter long. The fit is great, really stretchy but not slouchy-it fit him then and still fits him now- this will be his 3rd fall/winter wearing it- so we have absolutely gotten our moneys worth! Fall is coming & I have a 7 month old daughter too now so of course I had to get her the pink one! This will be the one and only winter hat I buy her now that I know what a score it is!

When looking at the adult size of this beanie, it looked like there was so much excess fabric at the top (which I know some people love the look of), but I knew it would be too much on me. I took at chance on the youth size and I think it fits me perfectly! It does not feel too tight, still has a slight amount of excess at the top (if desired for style), and was about half the price of the adult size! If you have a smaller head or hate how long the adult version, get this one!! **I also wanted to add the tag inside. On the adult beanie posting, many people said they were receiving fakes that had tags from China. Mine appears to have authentic Carhartt tags with made in US tags.
