Cichlid Lake Salt, 250 g / 8.8 oz

Absolutely love this product idk how I owned a aquarium for so long without it. A must have in my eyes for cichlids. And aquarium salt for any other fish. Helps with disease and parasite prevention along with improving gill function and replaces electrolytes.

Works great for regulating your tank water ph used alongside Seachem Malawi/Victoria Buffer. It can clump up if you try and add it to cold water so what I do is fill a separate cup with fairly hot water and mix them in that first then dump that into my bucket of water I eventually replace my tank water with. This allows it to dissolve completely in the water without any clumping.

Ive been using this for over a year and believe it is one of the reasons my tank is so healthy. My tank is very crowded, yet I rarely have fish die.

What can you say? It arrived quickly. It adjusts the salt levels as indicated. Though, it seems to me, with water chemistry, there could be a multitude of things that keep an aquarium perfect or kill it. There are other ways to adjust the salts in the cichlid tank. I just took the easy way out and dropped a few dollars on this product.

My cichlids are happiest they’ve ever been and water is crystal clear. I use with cichlid trace I had a cichlid and pleco that had white slime spots on them after putting in aquarium I can see it clearing up. Pleco starting to eat again and my cichlids are to.

When I first bought this for my African cichlids, I thought it would make my tank Brackish, it does not...Seachem makes awesome products and some not so awesome.....this one is awesomely...My cichlids are happy and colorful...trust seachem for Stability Prime Regulators Buffers and salt....the others, look for reviews
