13-04-2025Very good video, although my least favorite of the 4-series, which is exceptional and one of the best series. Far exceeds typical baby-kids videos of today. A taste of arts to be remembered. Well done, HBO!

> 3 dayThe poetry edition is on par with the originals in nearly all ways. My only dislike is the departure from animation when they interview kids in a sort of Reading Rainbow style. Maybe my kids will like that as they get a bit older, but for now they just want music, words, and pretty colors.

> 3 dayReally a great addition to the Classical Baby series. Our two-year-old loves watching it. It gives us something to talk about and interact together when watching.

> 3 dayWe have had trouble getting our son to settle down at night for bedtime. This video and the other videos in the series were the trick for us. He would immediately sit down to watch and interact, and by the end of the show hed be ready and willing to go to bed.

Greater than one weekMy kids love the Classical Baby series. It gives them a greater appreciation of art, classical music, dance and poetry. I would recommend to all parents to have in their collection.

13-04-2025My son, who has watched the other 3 Classical Baby DVDs for the past year and a half, absolutely loves the Poetry Show. He asks us to play it for him all the time and has started to recite parts of it.

> 3 dayGreat video. Not too long. Exposes kids to great poetry and beautiful animation. I also love that there are interviews with children, so my daughter gets to see their expressive faces as they talk about poetry.

> 3 dayI had the first three classical baby DVDs and wanted to get this one as well. It was not disappointing and had everything I wanted for my baby. She is 15 months old and doesnt yet like the slower poems, like William Shakespeare, but when she is a little older, I think she will get into the groove. So, if you like the first three, you will like this one as well. It has poems, songs, and children reading poems or talking about poems. It even has a poem in Spanish, which is very beautifully read by Andy Garcia.

> 3 dayA wonderful follow-up to Baby Music and Baby Dance. It is an impressive collection of children describing poetry. I hope there are more of this series.
