Clover Amour Crochet Hook: 4.0mm, 4.00mm, Multicoloured

This crochet hook shaft is not metal but plastic. All the other hooks in this line are metal, so I’m not sure why this particular size is plastic. To me the picture is a little deceiving.

Love these hooks! They’re comfy to hold for long crocheting binges and the yarn always slides easily on the hook. All the different colors also satisfy my need for all my crafting supplies to be “cute”. Plus they’re affordable enough for me to replace them when my puppy steals one off the couch and chews up the handle.

As a beginning crochet person, I have enough trouble just getting the stitches right! But with these crochet hooks I do not experience the yarn splitting that always happened before and the yarn does not stick on the hook buy slides off easily. Many Youtubers recommend this brand of hook, and I can see why. Very pleased.

Have used the cheaper Clover hooks for several years but have just discovered their Amour hooks and Im completely hooked! Theyre the softest and the most comfortable hooks Ive ever used (Ive crocheted for decades), and you can crochet for long stretches without them digging into the side of your finger. Now have to replace all of my hooks with Amour hooks!
