The hook shape of the Amour line is resistant to hanging up in loose threads, so I like it more than the shiny aluminum crochet hooks. When you first try it, you will get some friction between the hook and the yarn, but after an hour or so of use it slides smoothly. Other hooks may not have this break-in period required, but its worth it for the increase in speed you ultimately get, and with crochet hooks, the key virtue is speed. The grip is a molded silicone rubber which is comfortable and effortless to hold.

That is the crochet hoot that great for mini crochet. Very comfortable.
