> 24 hourFavorite tool in the sewing room! Use it for so many things and the handle is long enough to use without hand cramps and feels sturdy. Not a cheap feeling tool. Cant believe how long it took me to upgrade from the crappy mini plastic seam ripper that used the cap to extend the handle!

> 24 hourBought two of these as I was tired of all the seam rippers I bought at JoAnn Fabrics breaking within a month of buying them. They need to stop using cheap steel. I have two from the 80s that are made of much better stuff but they arent as sharp as they used to be after 30 years of use. These are sharp and appear to be holding up to my Hulk-like seam ripping. Update: Been using this for a while. Its held up great and I still havent broke it. Bought two more I love it so much.

> 24 hourI couldnt find my seam ripper that I had had for YEARS, so decided it would be faster to just order one from Amazon than finally get around to driving to Joanns 15 miles away. This seam ripper is AWESOME! I have been wasting so much time using one of the cheapie little blue handled ones-- they are no where near as sharp as the blade on this one. My un-sewing time is so much more efficient and less frustrating using this Clover ripper. Nice shape to the handle. Its slightly more robust than the cheapy blue seam rippers (you all have those, right?) and still light weight and easy to stash in your go to guild bag.

> 24 hourI have used this seam ripper four times already for making alterations to a leather jacket, repair to a pair of shoes (removing an annoying strap), adjustment to a leather bag and actual ripping out a seam in a blouse. The ripper blade is sharp and the handle is a lot nicer in my hands than the plastic ones I have. And sturdier. Having a good tool like this makes a big difference and also increases the chances of you making repairs.

> 24 hourPurchased 3 because this is my favorite seam ripper and you cannot find it in stores. You can get a good grip with the handle and thus control what you are ripping so it is done properly. I also use seam rippers to remove plastic from DVDs, sealed bottled and even the cats tangled hair. Somehow, over time, they get misplaced so I will be ordering more. Thanks to Amazon for making this product available.
