Very pretty. I bought it for my mom to cut her yarn without properly reading the description. She still loves it and is able to use it. I put it on a long chain for her to wear around her neck.

Purchased as a gift for my crafty niece. I have one of these myself and its extremely handy to have on a ribbon around your neck on on a retractable badge spool where it cant get lost on the sewing table. Its also nice for when youre crafting around little kids since its one less pointy thing they can use to hurt themselves.

heavier than I expected, but not so heavy that I wont use it. Hope it doesnt get confiscated. Took a small, blunt scissors on a trip and TSA had no problem with it, but when I tried to fly home with it from Costa Rica, they took it away. Planning another trip and hope I can stitch on the trip home with this.

This is so cute to wear a pentant on a chain. I have had a lot of people ask where I got it and of course I tell them. So Thank you!

The thread cutter is so cute! It can be worn as a pendant on a necklace, or on a key ring. If you do hand-stitching or embroidery or cross-stitching, then it can be worn on the go. If you just work with machines, then you can hang it on a pendant that you keep next to your machine and wear it when you sew. Much easier to deal with than scissors!

I had to finally replace my old tread cutter, after 10+ years, I found it in a puddle of water. The new one is the exact same and I love it! Perfect for any sewing project

I double checked the TSA website, and this pendant is specifically banned for carry-on luggage. Knitting needles, on the other hand, are okay to include with your carry on luggage. (Does that make sense to anyone?) As mentioned in another comment, it really all depends on who is checking your bags and which airport you are traveling through. Still, this pendant is very convenient and easier to carry around. As a mother of toddlers I dont worry so much about them getting their hands on it.

Sharp, easy to use. Keeping one for myself, giving others as gifts.

Love this! I bought it to take on an airplane trip. It works great and no issues with the airline.
