This is so easy to use when doing chain stitching. Instead of scissors, use this device. With ribbon attached to wear around neck, it is great for traveling. Can use on airplane. Easy to drop in purse for easy access.

You can get these in most fabric stores. They are very nice and work great. I bought it for an embroidery project.

I bought this for my wife so that she wouldnt be mistaken for a terrorist when flying with her cross stitch. She likes it.

These were quickly banned by TSA because it came to light that the decorative sides can easily be removed, exposing a very sharp circular blade that can be used in the same way box cutters can be used, to cause very serious injuries. Get folding scissors - they are 4 inches overall and 2.5 inches when closed up. They even have a loop so you can hang them on a keychain.

Its a neat idea but it doesnt make a clean cut like scissors do which can be super annoying if you need to thread your yarn through a needle when it comes time to weave in your ends. It would look much nicer hanging around my neck if didnt have Japan embossed so largely on the one side. Ill have to figure out a way to dangle it from my chain so that it wont flip over to that side.

I crochet alot when I travel as well as at home. No problem getting this cutting tool through airport security. It is convient and very accesible worn around my neck --- it is generally the necklace youll find me wearing. This size is perfect for yarn and embroidery thread.

Got this for my sister-in-law and she really liked it and thought it was a great idea. Very well made.
